The APBC awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement by both individuals and institutions that not only deliver but excel in the same areas that the HNW individuals value.

For 2010 the scope of Australian Private Banking Awards has been widened to recognise:

  • Outstanding Institution -$1-$10m
  • Outstanding Institution -$10m-$30m
  • Outstanding UHNW Offering - $30m+
  • Outstanding Industry Thought Leader
  • Outstanding Relationship Manager
  • Outstanding Wealth/ Investment Advisor
  • Outstanding New Relationship Manager
  • Outstanding New Wealth/ Investment Advisor

The 2010 Australian Private Banking Awards evening will coincide with the Australian Private Banking Conference to address the challenges facing the industry over the next 12 months.

Outstanding Institution - $1-$10m

This award is designed to recognise the institution best able to cater for the needs of HNW individuals with between $1m and $10m in investible wealth.

Outstanding Institution - $10m-$30m

This award is designed to recognise the institution best able to cater for the needs of HNW individuals with between $10m and $30m in investible wealth.

Outstanding UHNW Offering - $30m+

This award is designed to recognise the institution best able to cater for the needs of Ultra HNW individuals with more than $30m in investible wealth.

Outstanding Industry Thought Leader

This award is designed to recognise the individual within Australian Private Banking that is best able to act as a spokesperson for the private banking industry. This person is able to clearly articulate the desired direction of the industry and to draw upon best practice from around the globe that is applicable to the Australian context.

Outstanding Relationship Manager

This award is designed to recognise the client-facing private banking employee best able to cater to their clients’ individual needs. This person is able to take into account an individual’s situation and to tailor an offering for them, delivering both the highest level of service and a full range of financial solutions.

Outstanding New Relationship Manager

This award is designed to recognise the new client-facing private banking employee best able to cater to their clients’ individual needs. This person has entered into the private banking arena in the last 2 years and is able to take into account an individual’s situation and to tailor an offering for them, delivering both the highest level of service and a full range of financial solutions.

Outstanding Wealth/ Investment Advisor

This award is designed to recognise the individual best able to advise clients on their wealth/ investment. This person is able to take into account a client’s life-stage, risk appetite and investment objectives in order to advice on an appropriate strategy.

Outstanding New Wealth/ Investment Advisor

This award is designed to recognise the individual best able to advise clients on their wealth/ investment This person has entered into the private banking arena in the last 2 years and is able to take into account a client’s life-stage, risk appetite and investment objectives in order to advice on an appropriate strategy.
