Judging Panel

National experts in their fields have been invited to judge the Australian Private Banking Awards, more to be announced soon.

		Angela Flannery Partner Allen & Overy Angela Flannery is a partner in the banking and finance department of the Sydney office of international law firm, Allen & Overy, with over 20 years’ experience in banking law in the Australian market. Angela has a long standing commitment to the banking and finance sector, as indicated for example by her membership of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association, and its legal and documentation committee, for over 10 years. Angela is the previous author of a text "Australian Corporate Finance Law" (published by LexisNexis) and is currently an editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance Law and Practice. Angela also lectures in project finance for the Masters of Law course at the University of Sydney. She publishes many articles, including most recently in relation to Australia's personal property securities law reforms.
		Dr. Steve Christie Program Director - China, Applied Finance Centre Macquarie University Steve Christie has almost 20 years’ experience in finance and investments, specialising in private wealth management. Prior to joining the Applied Finance Centre, Steve was Head of Private Wealth Management at Ord Minnett, where he ran the Australian national wealth advisory and financial planning businesses. Previously, Steve worked at Goldman Sachs JBWere in a range of senior roles, including Senior Portfolio Manager, Asset Allocation Strategist and Head of Asset Allocation for the Private Wealth Management business. Steve is a Director of the Australian Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund, where he also serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee.
